The family-run Green Mountain Country Store is cherished by locals as a reminder of simpler times. The Abbott children are determined to keep it that way—but their father has different plans... When Cameron Murphy heads to Vermont to build a website for a new client, she imagines a more relaxing trip than she gets. After wrecking her car by colliding with the town moose, she meets the most handsome hero she’s ever seen. Unfortunately, her savior, Will Abbott, is also the son of her client—and he wants nothing to do with the new website or the city girl creating it. For all Will cares, Cameron can march her fancy boots right out of town and out of his family’s business. But he can’t seem to get her out of his head. As his family’s dispute heats up, so does the chemistry between the two, leaving them wondering if simple is better after all—especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
Thank you, Lord for Marie Force. I’m so excited that I have another Marie Force series to get excited about! This was a book that I fell head over heels in love with. Will and Cameron were so freaking gone for each other and it was so much fun reading a love story where they just could not help themselves and could not keep their hands off of each other.
I mean who could resist this guy?
“If you fall in love with me, Cameron Murphy, I’ll never let you go.”
Well ok, if you insist!!!
Will. Will. Will. I just love him and I love his whole family. They took Cameron into the fold of their big and loving family, a family that Cameron lacked and hungered for as a child. Molly, the Abbott matriarch is… well, she is awesome.
Will smiled at her. “You’re really very clever, aren’t you?”
“Dude, I raised ten children and lived to tell. I had to be clever, devious, cunning and many other things I’ll never admit to under threat of torture.”
If you are a fan of Marie Force’s McCarthy’s of Gansett Island series, I don’t see why you wouldn’t love this one. I adore books/series that have a community aspect to them and I love to get caught up on their lived throughout the subsequent books. Ms. Force excels at creating a central couple while keeping previous couples involved and moving forward in their own lives. There is no happily ever after and they ride off into the sunset, never to be heard from again in her books and thank goodness for that!! I can’t wait to read book 2 of this series I Want to Hold Your Hand but I’m not sure I can wait until June 3 to get Hannah and Nolan’s book and to catch up with Cam and Will. Torture.
Have you read this one? What did you think?
Decide for yourself.
